Bootle, Litherland & Netherton Junior Football League

History of Bootle JFL

Our League was formed in 1966 taking the name of THE BOOTLE ,LITHERLAND & NETHERTON JFL.
This was the result of the Netherton League and the Litherland League instead of fading away joining together with the very strong Bootle league and thus this is what we have  today a league which all those parents fought for.

Over the next few weeks I will tell you how the players and the dads marched on Bootle Town Hall and demanded pitches for our children to play on.
